
Hello! Welcome to my Yoga page! I teach online and at various studios and holistic centers. My schedule changes from week to week, so please contact me if you’d like to know where I will be next!
And as for yoga- I teach a mindful Hatha practice, which is gentle enough for beginners but with modifications if you need a little extra stretch! We do lots of poses, breathing, and mindful practices during class. The poses themselves are the fun part and where we get to “play” while we learn! I will assist you in getting in and out of poses correctly. And we explore options through the poses…I will give you cues so that you can access the version of the pose that works best for your body. You might be surprised to see what your body can do! And have fun in the process!
Yoga class is meant to be an “experience” to transform you on a mental, physical, and spiritual level. This is my goal! Each practice we will learn a health related theme or a new fun fact. And we’ll work to slow down our thinking mind and just enjoy the present moment.
Need a Private Class?
I also do private one-on-one sessions. If you are brand new to yoga, nervous as heck, or have physical limitations that prevent you from joining a group class – I am happy to come to you online! That’s the beauty of ZOOM! I will only charge $20 per session to do a private online yoga class. I’ll help you to get into poses properly so you don’t hurt yourself and we’ll modify for your individual situation in a private and compassionate environment. I was new once too and horrified to walk through the gym to the yoga room…but I overcame that when I learned how good it feels! We are all different sizes and shapes and the light in me honors and respects the light in you! Namaste.
Online Library
I am working to build an online library for you of our recorded classes so you can do yoga anytime. This will be on YouTube and will include both yoga classes and meditation practices that you can do at your own pace and when you need a little something extra. Yoga is here for us to calm our minds and bodies and I want to be a light to each of you my friends. Let me know if you’re interested and I will tell you what I have available.
